In a sketchbook, I described Ragdoll’s (final) look as “a cross between Gollum and Miley Cyrus.” While her ability could’ve yielded lots of fun designs, I still wanted something simple enough to draw over and over again. Early names for the character included “The Tailor” (she would’ve fought with a giant sewing needle, lol) or “The Carpenter” (hence the hammer).
We can only assume Ragdoll forces escapees to listen to Nickelback on repeat for several hours.
